1. structure first

Make sure your topics include the title (in English and Spanish), table of contents, introduction, body, conclusion, and bibliography. This is the first thing the jury will check!

2. Make it yours

The jury will be correcting exam after exam, so it’s important to make yours stand out from the rest. Adding relevant quotes, interesting tidbits of information, and unique examples are great ways to spice up an otherwise mundane topic.

3. Use a current and varied bibliography

While some renowned works- albeit old- are a staple in any library and sometimes necessary, we want our topics to be based on the most current research. We recommend using works produced later than the year 2000 when possible, and displaying a variety of sources including books, web pages, and YouTube videos.

4. Pay attention to the title

Each element included in title must be dealt with, and preferable used as a title or subtitle. Ours are specifically written to address each element of the topic in the order it appears. This makes the topics easier to remember, too!

5. Know your audience

Remember that the jury who correct our exams are teachers just like you. Make your topic easy to read and entertaining for them, and try to use practical examples that they could also put into practice in their own classrooms.
